Daniel is such a sweet husband...
setting the bar extremely high for Mother's Days to come....
He told me we had dinner reservations for 8:15 on Saturday night, and needed to leave the house by 8. After passing restaurant after restaurant (which does not take very long in Lubbock), he had me completely confused on where we were going
...besides on a wild goose chase!
The destination ended up being the Double Nickle, which I have been craving.
Oh, and it was sooooo good!
Best meal ever!!! followed by dessert at the
Coffee House...till they turned the lights out for the night.
For some reason, we both woke up really early Sunday morning and could not go back to sleep. So, after our movie ended at 6am, he said he had a surprise for me...
2 cards: The first from (and signed by) Retief,
and the second was such a sweet card from him.
Then came the "mystery box" .............
I HAVE THE DIAPER BAG!!!! Very appropriate for the occasion :)
Now we just need the baby....
